Participate in the International Business Forum in Athens
We take part in a conference organised by Diversity Charter Greece to discuss how organisations are doing in the field of inclusive communication.
We discussed that:
Most of the time, people see inclusive communication as an important part of D&I, but it receives little attention. Over the years, together with partners from Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania and Greece, we have found almost 20 guidelines on how best to communicate messages in the most inclusive way. There seems to be enough information available, but talking to companies has shown that it is not enough to just have guidelines. The question is how to apply them, have they really thought of everything? To make a difference, you need to have clear objectives for inclusive communication and to continuously monitor how well you are doing in achieving them.This event is part of the NICE project, a joint project between us and the Diversity Charters from Bulgaria, Greece, Cyprus and Romania, funded by the European Commission.
