“McDonald’s becomes the first restaurant chain to join the Lithuanian Diversity Charter.
“We have done a lot in more than a quarter of a century in Lithuania, and we continue to work to create a safe, open and dignified working environment where every person and every group in society feels that they have a contribution to make and a value to contribute. We are convinced that if people are not judged on the basis of their gender, age, religion or sexual orientation, it is liberating and encourages creativity and development. We are delighted to join the Diversity Charter and hope that this commitment will not only allow us to improve ourselves, but also to strengthen the dissemination of these sustainable and progressive societal values outside our company,” says Vladimir Janevski, CEO of McDonald’s in the Baltics.
