Inclusive Communication Programme launched
We have launched an inclusive communication programme, with 23 organisations joining. Today we talked about disability and disability-sensitive vocabulary, led by Simona Aginskaitė.
She pointed out that there is still a stereotype that people with disabilities are superheroes, who can or have overcome their disabilities. This shows how we are unable or unwilling to accept disability.
We are organising this session together with Diversity Charters in Bulgaria, Greece, Cyprus and Romania as part of the NICE project funded by the European Commission.
