How to involve colleagues in achieving the objectives?
Today, Diversity Charter members discussed how internal ambassadors work and what organisations can achieve with their help. The session was designed for informal conversations to share experiences and discuss diversity and inclusion initiatives, their strengths and challenges.
The experience of Lithuanian airports shows that employees are actively involved and shaping the objectives, it is important to give them the freedom to act and decide. People are happy to become ambassadors of diversity and inclusion if they are given the freedom to act and decide. Goals are important, but so are leadership, sharing of responsibilities and the resources to do so.
These informal meetings are a regular occurrence, if you have topics to discuss, we welcome suggestions diversity@diversity.lt
