How does social responsibility benefit companies?
We participate in a discussion organised byCOBALT Legal and Žinių Radio on “Is social responsibility good for business?”. We share some insights from the conversation:
– Companies are often unclear about how to meet Part S of their ESG objectives and how best to report publicly.
– There is a noticeable age problem – although shareholders are no longer looking for only men for management positions, it is still 35 to 45 year old managers and executives who are wanted.
– Candidates are looking for partnerships in their job search – employer reputation, commitment, goals are important.
