GDPR does not prevent the collection of data on diversity

Today, we held a Member Experience Sharing Meeting to discuss how to collect diversity data in line with GDPR requirements.
Some insights:
☑️Know why and what data you want to collect, and what objectives it will help you achieve;
☑️ give employees the freedom to decide whether and what data they want to provide you with about themselves;
☑️be clear about what you will do with it, for how long and why it is important;
☑️don’t judge the gender of colleagues by their name or appearance, ask them.
Membership meetings are held at least every 1.5 months and all Diversity Charter members are invited.
