Annual Diversity Charter Conference with Baltic Pride kicks off

The annual Diversity Charter conference “Open Cities” opens.

This Friday, 3 June, the Annual Diversity Charter Conference “Open Cities” will take place at Vilnius Town Hall. This year it is organised in partnership with Baltic Pride.

30 speakers from 10 countries will share their insights on diversity, inclusion and equal opportunities. Mayors, business leaders, public sector and NGO representatives from European and Canadian cities will take part in the discussions.

The conference will cover:

– How the public sector can contribute to creating open and welcoming cities that are good places to live for all;
– how to appreciate the need for diversity and inclusion among different social groups;
– the LGBT+ situation in the country and the role of government and business in improving it;
– how businesses ensure equal opportunities for their employees and customers, and how they know if their initiatives are making a difference;
– whether the integration of migrants has opened up new niches and opportunities for organisations and cities?

The conference will be hosted by Erica Jennings, and we will invite you to listen to her concert during the event.
